How can I manually create a turnaround?

This article explains how to manually create a turnaround in AGOA from Backoffice using the Schedules area.

Before creating a turnaround manually, make sure it's meant to be created manually (not provided by an integration) and that it doesn't already exist. Also check that a critical path exists for the airline you're creating the turnaround for.

1. Open the correct place in Backoffice

In the Backoffice, select the airport where you want the turnaround created. If you only have access to one airport, you'll go directly to the Schedules section.

Open the Schedules section — this is the page used to create and manage turnarounds.

2. Start creation from the Schedules page

On the Schedules page, use the + ADD SCHEDULE button to open the creation form.

3. Fill in the turnaround details

Select the airline carrier code. If you don't have access to the airline, contact your administrator. If you're deploying a new airline, contact [email protected].

Enter the outbound (departure) flight number.

Select the critical path the turnaround should use when created. You can always use your default critical path configuration.

4. Set the start and end dates

Dates must be entered in UTC — be careful with flights around 00:00 UTC. Enter the arrival date for the inbound flight and the departure date for the outbound flight.

If you're creating multiple turnarounds with the same setup, use the first inbound date and the last outbound date to define the period.

5. Enter the route and timings of your flights

  • Enter origin and destination.

  • Enter STA and STD in UTC.

  • Enter the inbound (arrival) flight number, if applicable.

6. Define the turnaround frequency

Choose whether the turnaround happens every day, on a specific weekday, or only on specific dates within the selected period.

7. Save and verify

Save the schedule from the form.

You can then check the created turnaround, with its arrival and departure dates and timings shown in UTC.

After creating the schedule, the turnaround should appear in AGOA within about 20 minutes. If it doesn't, first double-check your UTC inputs and whether the turnaround is expected to come from an integration instead. If it's still missing, contact AGOA support through your usual channel.
