What is a snapshot and how to create one?

A snapshot is a read-only and public view of a dashboard or of a panel, accessible with a link.

Warning: Only panels visible on the screen at the time when the snapshot was made are visible in the snapshot. The rest of the panels will display “No data”.

• Scroll to place the panels you want to share visibly on your screen.
• Click on the share icon at the right of the dashboard title.

• Open the Snapshot tab in the window that just opened.
• Give your snapshot a name and choose an expire time (or leave it at Never).
• There should be no need to change the Timeout value.
• Click on the blue Local Snapshot button.

• Click on the Copy Link to copy the link to the snapshot to your clipboard,
• Or click on the link directly to preview the snapshot.
