What is a generic account?

A generic account allows multiple people to use the same account on AGOA.

Updated today

A generic account is intended for shared usage rather than individual access. The same credentials can be used by multiple users and devices without blocking each other.

Key limitation:

  • AGOA tracks actions by user account, not by device or person. If several people use the same generic account, you cannot identify who performed a specific modification.

You can create a generic user by toggling the Generic Account toggle in the user creation page of the Backoffice. For more details, refer to How can I create an AGOA user?
