By default, tasks have a start time and an end time, and therefore a duration. However, some tasks do not necessarily have a duration, or we are not interested in recording the duration of the task (e.g. Crew at Aircraft, for some airlines). This is especially true of milestones.
If a task is instantaneous, i.e. without duration, it can be represented in the Backoffice and in AGOA as an end-only task.
