What is operational access, and how do I assign it to a user?

How to add or remove an airport/airline to an account: operational access is an airline / airport pair that defines which turnarounds a user can see.

Operational access defines which turnarounds a user can see in AGOA. It is always a pair: one airline at one airport (for example, ZZ at LIS). This article explains how to add or remove an airport/airline to an account. You do it in the Operational access section of the user form in the Backoffice. This field is required: select at least one pair, or turn on the toggle described below.

How to add or remove an airport/airline to an account

  1. Go to the Backoffice and open the Users section.

  2. Create a user, or open an existing one.

  3. In the Operational access section, tick the airline / airport pairs the user needs. To remove an access, untick the pair. Use the filters on the Airline and Airport columns to narrow the list.

  4. Click Save.

The toggle at the top: access to everything

The toggle at the top of the section gives the user all operational accesses: every airport and every airline available to your company.

  • It also adds new operational accesses automatically. If a new airline / airport pair is added to your company later, the user gets it without any action from you.

  • Use it with care: the user will see all your stations and airlines, now and in the future.

  • You only see this toggle if your own account has it turned on. If your account doesn't have it, the toggle doesn't appear at all.

I can't see an airline / airport pair in the list

You can only give a user the operational accesses that you can see yourself. If a pair is missing, there are two possible reasons:

  1. You don't have this operational access yourself. Ask your AGOA administrator in your company.

  2. This operational access isn't available to your company. Only Tarmac support can add it. Contact [email protected].
