What does above and below the wing mean?

"Above the Wing" and "Below the Wing" refer to the physical location on the aircraft where a task is performed. They are also used to organize and filter tasks within a critical path.

In AGOA, “above the wing” and “below the wing” are task groupings that determine how tasks are categorized and filtered in Station View.

When you define or edit a critical path in the Backoffice, each task is placed in either the “above the wing” or “below the wing” section, depending on where you add it. This categorization then carries over to Station View.

In Station View, the Above the wing / Below the wing filter uses that configuration to display tasks:

  • Tasks configured as “above the wing” appear when filtering for Above the wing.

  • Tasks configured as “below the wing” appear when filtering for Below the wing.
